The Missouri 20th Senate Race Is The Simple And Easiest Of Races For You To Choose The Candidate You Want To Elect To Represent You In Jefferson City For The Next 4 Years. Unlike A Lot Of The Other Races.
You can vote for a resident of Greene County who has been a working person all of his life. Who has decided to come forth from the private sector and go to Jefferson City and help fix the financial problems of the state, help solve our state unemployment and economic problems, submit new tax legislation that makes sense and is fair for all the residents of Missouri and who will work to represent every resident of the 20th District and the State of Missouri. Then return back to the private sector once the job is done. The principals on what this country was founded on.
Or you can vote for a career politician who is termed out in the Missouri house of Representatives that wants to continue his career as a politician. The last 8 years he has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from special interest groups in the State of Missouri and also from special interest groups outside of the State of Missouri. The legislative bills he submits each year are all about those special interest groups that contribute to his campaign. The legislation he submits fortunately gets voted down and the next year those same contributors line up to feed his campaign fund like it’s a $500.00 slot machine. Then the same bills submitted and turned down the year before are again submitted by this career politician. This has continually gone on for the last 6 years. Four years in the senate will just allow this career politician to continue to represent those special interest groups that have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in him and his campaign fund the last 8 years.
This race is not about if you’re a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Constitution Party, Green Party, Tea Party, Independent or have any other political beliefs. This race is about if you want to send a fresh new face to Jefferson City who has come from the private sector that will represent every resident of the 20th District regardless of their political beliefs. Or if you want to send a career politician back to Jefferson City to represent those special interest groups from both instate and out of state that he has received hundreds of thousands of dollars from. It is as simple as that. It is your vote. Make it count.
WHY I DECIDED TO BE A CANDIDATE
I am not sure I know where to start with out writing a hundred plus page report. I will try and keep it simple, 48 out of 50 states including Missouri are coming up short every year on state sales tax revenue and the solution is so simple. I can not believe all states have not passed internet sales tax laws. So far 16 states have started to pass internet sales tax laws that make sense. Missouri is not one of them and should be.
Healthcare is a major issue in Missouri, losing jobs to foreign countries, the increased cost of everyday living with more burdens being put on the everyday working person just to start. The high surge of food products starting to come in from India and other foreign countries is just the tip of the iceberg because they are a few pennies cheaper. We have to protect the quality of our food and the farmers that produce them.
I have watched important issues in our state that should have new laws passed to head off some of this nonsense and protect us. But not one person in Jefferson City has attempted to pass legislation on the four issues, I am concerned about and you should be concerned about also.
We have serious issues that need to be addressed and I feel like as a hard working citizen of Missouri I deserve better than what I have had in the past. The residents of the 20th District deserve someone who is willing to go to Jefferson City and represent them in the way they deserve to be represented.
So rather than complain about the problems I see that can be fixed. I decided earlier in the year to be part of the solution to fix the problems. That is why I am running for the Missouri Senate District 20th position. We need to take more control of our State Government and depend less on the Federal Government. HELP ME TO HELP YOU
